The Tea Road of Thousands of Miles Research Institute Settled at HUBU

On December 4, the Tea Road of Thousands of Miles Research Institute, an unincorporated and functional scientific research and consulting service organization jointly sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of Culture and Hubei University, was established at Hubei University.

An academic forum themed the Tea Road of Thousands of Miles and the Rejuvenation of Chinese Tea Industry was held during the founding ceremony.

Present were Sergei Kalashnikov, Chairman in office of the Tea Road of Thousand Miles (International) Cooperation and Chairman of the Presidium of Russian Association for International Cooperation, Wang Shi, president of the Chinese Council for the Promotion of Culture, Vladimir Polozkov, Secretary General of the Russian Association for International Cooperation and other 80 leaders of associations and companies. Wang Shimin, vice president of Hubei University presided over the meeting.

Tea history and tea culture are important branches of literature and history in China. In recent years, with the further development of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, the excavation, research, analysis of tea culture have sprung up vigorously.

Hubei is an important province on the Tea Road of Thousand Miles. Hubei University has paid much efforts to help the development of tea culture. In order to better develop and utilize the historical and cultural resources of the Tea Road of Thousand Miles, the Association for the Promotion of Chinese Culture and Hubei University decided to jointly establish the Tea Road of Thousand Miles Research Institute.
