A Delegation Led by British Ambassador to China Caroline Wilson pays a visit to Hubei University

On March 4, 2024, a delegation led by Caroline Wilson, British Ambassador to China, and Dominic McAllister, British Consulate-General in Wuhan, paid a visit to Hubei University. Liu Jianping, President of Hubei University, met with the delegation. Participants of the meeting included directors from the Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Provincial People's Government, the Hubei University Office of International Affairs, Manchester Metropolitan Joint Institute, Hubei University, and the Institute of Area Studies, Hubei University.

Liu Jianping extended a warm welcome to Caroline Wilson and her delegation. He stated that Hubei University attaches great importance to international cooperation and exchanges. In recent years, Hubei University has deepened its cooperation and exchanges with British universities, and Manchester Metropolitan Joint Institute, Hubei University has shown good momentum of development.

Caroline Wilson expressed her gratitude for Hubei University, and highlighted that British Embassy Beijing and British Consulate-General Wuhan will continue to support the development of the Joint Institute and cooperation between Hubei University and British universities.
