The 7th China Cultural Development Forum Held at HUBU

On May 30, the 7th China Cultural Development Forum was held at Hubei University. This forum was held online, with the theme of "Epidemic Fighting Spirit and Chinese Culture". It aims to contribute to the economic and social development in the post-epidemic era.

  

The forum was hosted by Hubei University, co-hosted by Hubei University Advanced Humanities Research Institute, Chinese Cultural Development Hubei Collaborative Innovation Center, and Hubei Cultural Construction Research Institute. Yu Liping, Party Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Association of Social Sciences, and Xie Hongxing, President of Hubei University participated the forum and delivered speeches. Renowned experts Jiangchang, Mayong, Zheng Xiaoyun, Meng Huaping, Zou Aihua, Xu Fangping, Liao Shengwu, Zhang Chunhe and Huang Xiaohua delivered keynote speeches. The forum is hosted by Huang Boquan, dean of School of History and Culture, and more than 1,800 scholars, teachers and students representatives attended the forum online.

In his speech, Yu Liping said that in this fight against the epidemic, Hubei has achieved a decisive victory, which has fully demonstrated the cultural strength of the Chinese nation.

In the expert speech, 9 experts shared their thoughts on the themes of value ethics, cultural identity, cultural self-confidence, national spirit, etc.

"China Cultural Development Forum" is one of the academic brands of Hubei University. The first forum was held in 2013. The forum focuses on a major development issue every year, with a wide influence in academic studies and social development.
