On November 30, State Key Laboratory of Biocatalysis and Enzyme Engineering Held Its First Management and Academic Committee Meeting. Members of the management committee and many domestic experts attended the meeting to offered suggestions for the construction and development of the state key laboratory.
Present the meeting were academician Chen Huanchun from Huazhong Agricultural University, academician Li Peiwu from Institute of Oilseeds of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, deputy director Du Yun from Science and Technology Department of Hubei Province, Shang Gang, party secretary of Hubei University. Wang Shimin, vice president of Hubei University presided over the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, Shang Gang expressed his gratitute and warm welcome. A management committee and academic committee will be set up in order to build an efficient, open and cooperative research platform, further strengthening high-level scientific research capacity and contribute to the high-quality development of Hubei Province. He hoped that experts would give more valuable suggestions to support the construction and development of the state key laboratory.
