5th International Conference on Energy Materials and Nanotechnology was Held in Hubei University

October 22 to 24 witnessed the 5th International Conference on Energy Materials and Nanotechnology of the Wuhan Forum in 2021(Energy and Environmental Materials) held at Hubei University, and participated by world-renowned scientists. Hundreds of experts and scholars from the UK, the United States, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Austria, China and other 10 countries and regions participated in the discussion.



At the opening ceremony, Tan Kunhua, Secretary of Discipline Committee of Hubei University, welcomed and thanked the experts and scholars and relevant units, introduced the relevant information of Hubei University, and expressed the opinion that the school will take this meeting as an opportunity to learn from others, accelerate the construction of related disciplines, thus imrpoving the University, and show the characteristics of Hubei University.


Academician Liu Yunqi, Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Liu Weimin, Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Ravi P. Silva, Fellow of the Royal Academy of Science and Engineering, Professor Shao Guosheng, Editor-in-Chief of Energy & Environmental Materials, and internationally renowned expert Professor Kevin Peter Homewood chaired the meeting. Professor Tian Yu, Professor Liu Jinping, Professor Alexey S. Cherevan and other experts and scholars at home and abroad focused on the topics of photoelectric detection and environmental sensing, new materials and devices for energy storage, new catalytic materials, etc. At the closing ceremony, the conference awarded the winners of the Best Wallpaper Award and the Best Oral Presentation Award.



The meeting was hosted by the Department of Education of Hubei Province, organized by Hubei University and Energy & Enviromental Materials Journal, and co-sponsored by energy capture and environmental sensing green technology colleges discipline innovation base, organic chemical new materials provincial departments to build collaborative innovation center, functional materials green preparation and application of key laboratories of the Ministry of Education, organic functional molecular synthesis and application of key laboratories of the Ministry of Education. The meeting aimed at bringing together advantageous resources from the scientific, educational and business communities to promote international exchanges and cooperation, technological progress and original innovation in the field of emerging energy materials and nanotechnology research.
