The 4th International Conference on Energy Materials and Nanotechnology Held at HUBU

From May 3 to 6, the Fourth International Conference on Energy Materials and Nanotechnology (Energy and Environmental Materials) was held at Hubei University. The conference, co-sponsored by Hubei University and the Journal of Energy & Environmental Materials, aims to pool the resources of the scientific and technological, educational and business sectors, to provide a platform for promoting international exchanges and cooperation, as well as the development of related disciplines and research of Hubei University.

 

Professor Liu Yunqi, academician of the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor S. Ravi P. Silva, Royal Academy of Sciences and Engineering of the United Kingdom, was president of the Conference. The conference was co-chaired by Professor Shao Guosheng, editor-in-chief of Energy & Environmental Materials, and Professor Kevin Peter Homewood, internationally renowned expert. Professor Christof Wll, Academician of the German National Professor Guo Xin, Youjinbi researcher and more than 200 experts and scholars from more than 10 countries and regions, such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Austria, China, Hong Kong etc., participated in the exchange and seminar. Xie Hongxing, President of Hubei University, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation, Research Institute of Science and Technology Development, School of Materials Science and Engineering attended the meeting. Vice President Jiang Tao presided over the opening ceremony. 

 

In his speech, Xie Hongxing extended his gratitude and welcomed the guests. He made a introduction of Hubei University, and showed his interest in seeking more opportunities for academic exchange and cooperation.
