Professor Darío Kusinsky, President of the National University of José C. Paz (UNPAZ), Argentina, visited Hubei University on May 16. Present at the meeting were Liu Jianping, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Hubei University Committee and President of Hubei University, Li Zhen, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hubei University Committee and Vice President of the University, as well as the heads of the International Office, School of Artificial Intelligence, School of Chinese Language and Literature, and Institute for Regional and International Studies of Hubei University.

Liu Jianping extended a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of Hubei University. He noted that the recently concluded Fourth Ministerial Meeting of the China-CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) Forum and the ongoing 2025 World Digital Education Conference create new opportunities and a solid platform for Hubei University to deepen its collaboration with universities in Latin America and the Caribbean. He expressed hope that, based on the cooperation agreement signed by both parties, the two universities will carry out all-round collaboration in talent cultivation, scientific research, and cultural exchange, jointly exploring the vast potential of China-Latin America educational cooperation.
Professor Kusinsky stated that he hoped this visit would serve as an opportunity to build bridges between the academic communities of China and Argentina. As a member of the National Interuniversity Council of Argentina, he will actively promote cooperation and exchanges between Hubei University and over 60 universities across Argentina.

During the meeting, representatives from the School of Artificial Intelligence, the School of Chinese Language and Literature, and the Institute for Regional and International Studies provided brief introductions to their respective institutions. The two sides also exchanged views on the joint development of Confucius Institutes and collaborative talent training programs.
