February 12th witnessed the final of 2023 National Futsal Championship in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province. In the event, Hubei University Futsal Team, having been always a top, finally lived up to the expectations and won the championship with an all-win record, further polishing the name card of Hubei University Futsal Team.

Hubei University Futsal Team Wins Championship

The championship is the highest level of futsal championship in China, organized by the Chinese Football Association, and hosted by Guangdong Football Sports Center, Guangdong Football Association and Zhaoqing Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau. This time, 14 teams participated in it. In order to prepare for it, our futsal team had a 15-day training session before the Spring Festival holiday and assembled again on the third day of the Lunar New Year to carry out intensive training in an effort to achieve further success.

From February 2nd to 12th, 14 teams from all over the country played six rounds of rat races. Our futsal team performed at its best and won the championship with a 5:1 victory over Zhaoqing AoDong team in the final. Li Xin won the title of “Best Coach” and Shen Siming won the title of “Best Player”.

Hubei University futsal team, with much attention and strong support of the university, has insists on training in scientific ways and strict management, and actively seeks social cooperation. Our team is worthy of the name “Grand Slam” team of Chinese men’s futsal, because it has achieved a series of honors, including “nine consecutive championships” in the National University Futsal League, the champion of the National Futsal League A, the champion of the National Futsal Association Cup, the champion of the National Futsal Super League, and so on.
