On November 3, the training on "Inheritance and Development of Yangtze River Water Culture in the New Era" and the fourth academic seminar of the Research Collaborative Group of the China Yangtze River Cultural Institute were held through online and offline at the same time. The seminar was organized by the Research Collaborative Group of the China Yangtze River Cultural Institute led by Hubei University and the China Yangtze River Cultural Institute, and co-organized by the Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Water Resources and Hydropower, the School of History and Culture of Hubei University, the Guizhou Branch of the China Yangtze River Cultural Institute, and the magazine The New Era of Ecological Civilization.
Many experts and scholars from universities and research institutes near the Yangtze River delivered 17 specific reports on the theme of inheritance and development of Yangtze River water culture in the new era, discussing various aspects such as theoretical construction and research path of Yangtze River water culture, Yangtze River water culture and regional civilization, Jingchu water culture, lake water culture, current situation and protection of Yangtze River water cultural heritage. The reports cover both macro theoretical discussions and specific case studies, and put forward a series of new ideas, making it a great event for academic discussions and knowledge popularization of Yangtze River culture, which was viewed online by 11,000 people.
