Delegation from University of North Carolina at Greensboro visits Hubei University

A delegation of 11 members from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), including Dr. Andrew Hamilton, Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate Affairs, Dr. Maria Anastasiou, Associate Provost, and faculty members of relevant majors, paid a visit to Hubei University on December 19. Liu Zhihong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Hubei University, along with the heads of the International Office, the School of Art and Design and other related departments presented at the event.



Liu Zhihong extended a heartfelt welcome to the guests from the United States and introduced Hubei University’s ongoing international exchanges and collaborations. He expressed hope that two universities would enhance their cooperation in areas such as exchange programs of teachers and students, mutual visits of faculty and academic discussions. Dr. Maria Anastasiou showed her appreciation to Hubei university for its hospitality and expressed her full commitment to facilitating exchange activities that would bring mutual benefits to both institutions. Meanwhile, Liu Zhihong and Dr. Andrew Hamilton jointly sighed a memorandum of cooperation, officially establishing a partnership between the two universities.

During the visit, the delegation attended a cultural lecture titled Jing-chu Culture in Hubei, experiencing traditional Chinese culture and Virtual Reality technology demonstrations.
