Recently, the final round of the 15th “Challenge Cup” Undergraduate Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Contest in Hubei Province came to an end. Teams from Hubei University won 5 grand prizes, 3 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 5 third prizes, achieving the best results ever for the number of prizes, especially for the grand prize. These achievements fully reflect the students’ passion for science, drive for innovation, and aspiring spirit.

Since October 2024, Hubei University launched preparations for the campus-round competition, receiving 137 entries from various schools with participation from over 1,000 students. Through several rounds of selection, including proposal reviews, on-campus presentations, and final defense sessions—supported by expert guidance through mock Q&A and coaching—17 projects were ultimately selected to compete in the provincial “Challenge Cup” Contest.
