Recently, the results of the 14th Hubei Provincial Award for Outstanding Achievements in Social Sciences were officially announced. Hubei University received a total of 14 awards, including 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 8 third prizes— five more than that of the previous session — ranking sixth among all universities in Hubei Province.

The Hubei Provincial Award for Outstanding Achievements in Social Sciences stands as the highest accolade in the province’s humanities and social sciences field. This award is conferred biennially to honor forward-thinking, innovative, and practically significant research acomplishments in philosophy and social sciences, thereby fostering disciplinary advancement, theoretical innovation, and academic prosperity. In accordance with the Interim Measures for the Administration of the Hubei Provincial Award for Outstanding Achievements in Social Sciences, following a thorough review by the Evaluation Committee, a total of 67 achievements across the province were awarded first prizes, 157 received second prizes, and 171 were granted third prizes.
