A four-member delegation, led by Professor Hwa-Rim Cho, Vice President of Jeonbuk National University (JBNU), visited Hubei University on October 16. Zhang Donghui, a Standing Committee Member of the University Party Committee and Vice President of Hubei University, met with the guests. The meeting was attended by representatives from International Office, School of Physics, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Artificial Intelligence, and School of Life Sciences at Hubei University.
Zhang Donghui welcomed to Professor Hwa-Rim Cho and his delegation, emphasizing the hope to multi-level and multi-dimensional exchanges and cooperation between the two universities. She stressed the importance of promoting student exchanges at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, strengthening scholar interaction, and fostering collaborative research to enhance both universities’ internationalization. Professor Hwa-Rim Cho highlighted the complementary academic strengths of both institutions and expressed the hope to further deepen exchanges and cooperation, building a foundation of mutual trust and support for a friendly, progressive partnership.

During the meeting, both sides shared updates on their recent developments, their distinctive academic disciplines, and engaged in detailed discussions regarding student exchanges, joint talent development, and academic collaboration. A framework agreement for inter-university exchange was signed, laying a solid foundation for deepening future cooperation. During their visit, the delegation also visited the Hubei University Museum.
