The 2025 World Chinese Language Conference was held in Beijing from November 14 to 16. Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, attends the opening ceremony and delivers a speech. Liu Jianping，Deputy Secretary of the CPC Hubei University Committee and President of Hubei University，Zhang Donghui, the Standing Committee of the CPC Hubei University Committee and Vice President, along with representatives from partner universities cooperating in the establishment of Confucius Institutes (Classrooms), participated in related events. During the conference, Hubei University signed a cooperation agreement with São Paulo State University on a dual-degree program for jointly cultivating postgraduates.

At China-CELAC Forum of Education Development, witnessed by the education ministries of China and Brazil, Liu Jianping and Maísa França, President of São Paulo State University, signed the agreement, marking a new stage of collaboration between the two institutions. The agreement establishes a dual-degree postgraduate training program, facilitating the exchange and sharing of high-quality resources and jointly enhancing the quality of talent cultivation.

Under the theme "Innovation Leads, AI Empowers: Learning Chinese without Borders," the conference aimed to strengthen connectivity and integration, build consensus on development, and promote Sino-foreign language and cultural exchanges. Approximately 2,000 participants from over 160 countries and regions attended the event. The Hubei University-São Paulo State University Confucius Institute was honored as the "2025 HSK Outstanding Test Center."
