Recently, global academic evaluation institution Elsevier released the 2025 list of "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers". Professor Li Zhen, Vice President of Hubei University, has been named to the list in Chemistry.
Professor Li Zhen's main research area focuses on polymer optoelectronic functional materials chemistry. In recent years, he has received numerous prestigious accolades, including the Young Chemist Award of the Chinese Chemical Society, the Asian Rising Stars Lectureship Award, a nomination for the Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Special Award, the Young Teacher Award from the Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation, the title of Outstanding Scientific and Technological Professional of Hubei Province, the First-Class Natural Science Award of Hubei Province, and the First Prize of the National Natural Science Award.
