The opening ceremony of the Wuhan Binjiang Qincheng Artificial Intelligence OPC Community was held at the Wuhan Alibaba Center on the morning of February 3rd. Li Zhen, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hubei University Committee and Vice President of Hubei University, attended the event and inaugurated the community. Hubei University signed a school-enterprise cooperation framework agreement with Wuhan Alibaba Center to explore a new model for the two-way empowerment of "Art and Technology," injecting Hubei University's wisdom and innovative vitality into the high-quality development of the digital economy.

A representative from the School of Art and Design signed the OPC Community co-construction cooperation agreement on behalf of the university. According to the agreement, guided by the principles of promoting industry-education integration and serving the regional digital economy, both parties will leverage their respective resource advantages to focus on collaboration in three key areas: first, jointly conducting scientific research integration in the fields of art and technology, and exploring the application and implementation of related cutting-edge technologies; second, co-building a "Designer Collaboration Platform" to integrate resources from both sides and establish a cross-border talent incubation platform; and third, establishing a "Wuhan Alibaba Center Talent Training Base" on campus to provide outstanding students with practical opportunities, platforms for showcasing achievements, and channels for commercial cooperation.

During the themed salon session on "Social Community Collaboration and Ecological Win-Win in OPC," the head of the university's School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship spoke as a representative of higher education institutions, introducing the university's industry-university-research cooperation with the Qincheng OPC Community and AI-enabled entrepreneurial practices for students.

Directors from relevant provincial, municipal, and district departments, representatives from Alibaba Group, universities and enterprises in Wuhan, as well as leaders from Hubei University's School of Art and Design, School of Artificial Intelligence, and School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, participated in the event.
