On March 24, a Study Group on National Conditions for Administrative Staff from Hong Kong Universities visited Hubei university. Vice President Zeng Xiangyong and Wang Liang, the investigator of the Department of External Cooperation and Exchange of the Provincial Department of Education, along with heads of relevant university departments and schools, and faculty representatives, attended the event.

Zeng Xiangyong introduced the university’s exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong institutions. He expressed the hope that both sides would take this visit as an opportunity to deepen collaboration in scientific and technological innovation and talent cultivation, strengthen youth exchanges, promote integration between the two regions, and make greater contributions to serving the country’s overall development and driving high-quality regional economic and social progress.

Representatives from both sides presented their respective disciplinary strengths and advantages, and engaged in discussions on faculty-student exchanges, talent development, and research collaboration, reaching a consensus.

It is learned that this Study Group on National Conditions was organized by the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Department of Education. The members are administrative staff from 14 universities, including the University of Hong Kong. The tour aims to promote Hubei-Hong Kong educational collaboration and serve national strategies and local development.
