On November 6, the school-enterprise co-building ceremony for innovative platform integration and development was held at Hubei University. Four new engineering schools, namely the School of Microelectronics, the School of Cyberspace Security, the School of Artificial Intelligence and the Institute of New Energy Science and Technology were established. 16 leader enterprises signed school-enterprise co-construction agreements with the four new engineering schools. Present were Xiao Juhua, Vice Governor of Hubei Province, Wu Hanming, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and representatives from relevant departments and enterprises of Hubei Provincial People's Government.

Liu Jianping, president of Hubei University said in his speech that the four new engineering schools would strive to tackle technical problems in relevant research fields, as well as build effective talent cultivation system to train more innovative engineering talents.

Xiao Juhua, vice governor of Hubei Provincial People's Government，Du Yun,  deputy director general of Department of Science and Technology of Hubei Province and Xu Tao, deputy director general of Department of Science and Technology of Wuhan Municipal Government, and Liu Jianping, President of Hubei University unveiled the plaque for the Institute of New Energy Science and Technology.

Wu Hanming, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Dean of the School of Microelectronics, Zhejiang University, was appointed as honorary dean of the School of Microelectronics, Hubei University.

A signing ceremony was held, and 16 leading enterprises in relevant industry signed agreements with four new engineering schools of Hubei University.

Xiao Juhua, Vice Governor of Hubei Provincial People's Government, stressed that Hubei University should focus on the national strategy and Hubei industrial needs to form the school's new engineering comparative advantage, as well as play a leading role to constantly promote the high-quality development of Hubei Province after the epidemic revitalization.
