2020 Seminar on the Development of Mathematics of Universities in Hubei Province was Held

From October 30 to November 1, the 2020 Hubei University Seminar on the Development of Mathematics in Higher Education was held in Shiyan, Hubei Province, sponsored by the School of Mathematics and Statistics of Hubei University, Hubei National Center of Applied Mathematics, Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory of Applied Mathematics, and hosted by School of Sciences, Hubei University of Automotive Technology.

The conference invited Prof. Xia Changyu, tenured professor of mathematics from the University of Brasilia, Prof. Peng Jin from Huanggang Normal College, and Prof. Xu Yunge from Hubei University. And they have made their speeches respectively.

150 representatives from other universities of Hubei had also attended the conference. It is reported that the Hubei Province University Mathematics Discipline Development Seminar has been held eight times since 2013.
