November 8th witnessed the inaugural ceremony of the Normal School of Hubei University and the forum on innovation and development of teacher education. In order to implement the central government's plan of deepening comprehensive reform in education, and to further promote the traditional advantages of teacher training education, the Normal School of Hubei University was established.

Present were Song Lei, Deputy Director of the Teachers’ Affairs Department of the Ministry of Education, Yu Xuemin, Deputy Director General of Department of Education of Hubei Province, Chen Hongyi, Deputy Director of the Teacher Administration Office, Department of Education of Hubei Province, and representative teachers of special grade Chen Liangjun, Xujing, and Wang Shouguang etc. The HUBU leaders Xie Hongxing，Liu Jianping, Wang Shimin, Jiang Tao attended the meeting.

After the meeting, the guests and the leaders went into the Comprehensive Training Building of Hubei University. The smart classrooms are equipped with high-definition PTZ cameras, intelligent audio capture system and other high-tech hardware equipment. All of these are of great significance to the improvement of teacher-training programs of Hubei University.
