Students of HUBU Won the Second Prize in the National Student FPGA Innovation Design Competition

From December 4 to 6, the final competition and award ceremony of the 4th National Student FPGA Innovation Design Competition were held in Nanjing, and students from the School of Physics and Electronic Science won the second prize.

The competition was hosted by the Chinese Institute of Electronics with the Joint Association of National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centres. A total of over 900 teams from 131 universities applied for the competition, and 139 teams advanced to the final round after evaluation by the organizing committee's expert group.

 

After a fierce competition in the final, the "Core Light Team", consisting of Duan Wei, a master's degree student of 2019, Liu Ruyi, a master's degree student of 2020, and Liang Xiaolong, an undergraduate student of 2018, under the guidance of teacher Song Min from the School of Physics and Electronic Science, won the second prize in the national competition.

 

It is reported that the competition aims to strengthen the innovative design and engineering practice ability of students in digital system design, promote the cooperation between universities and enterprises in talent training, and cultivate excellent talents with innovative thinking, teamwork spirit and the ability to solve complex engineering problems.

 

The School of Physics and Electronic Science has long been actively involved in the overall training of innovative talents.
