The signing ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between Hubei University and China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) was held in Hubei University on June 9. Song Ling'en, Party Secretary of CAICT, Jin Jian, Director of Industrial Internet and Internet of Things Research Institute, Liu Jianping, President of Hubei University, and Zhu Xin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hubei University attended the signing ceremony. And Vice President Jiang Tao presided over it.

In the ceremony, Song Ling'en introduced the basic information of CAICT, hoping that the both sides could establish long-term close and effective strategic cooperation relations in 5G, industrial Internet, blockchain, artificial intelligence, network security and other fields, thus strengthen the interaction between colleges and research institutes. In this way, we may jointly promote the development of the information and communication industry, and contribute to the network power and manufacturing power.

Then, Liu Jianping introduced the characteristics and advantages of HUBU. He showed the opinion that in recent years, our school have vigorously promoted the construction of new engineering discipline, implemented the “Double Ten Action Plan”, and devoted in development of local economy and society. It is hoped that both sides will take this signing as an opportunity to work together in the field like talent training, scientific research, to establish a model of cooperation between colleges and research institutes.

The ceremony was also attended by leaders of Institute of Industrial Internet & Internet of Things of CAICT, Technology Innovation Center of CAICT (Wuhan) Co. LTD, CTTL and other institutes, and directors of related departments and schools of Science and Technology Development Institute and Cooperation Development Department of Hubei University.
