Student-athletes from Hubei University come back at Shanghai 2024 FISU World University Championships Futsal

2024 FISU World University Championships Futsal kicked off in Shanghai from 10th -16th June 2024, during the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival. More than 400 university student football players from 21 teams representing 16 countries and regions, including Brazil, France, Portugal, and China, competed on the field, showcasing their extraordinary skills and indomitable spirit. The Chinese women's team and the Chinese men's team were coached respectively by Hu Jie and Li Xin, teachers from Hubei University. Among the 14 players in the Chinese men's team, six players come from Hubei University.

The Five-A-Side football team of Hubei University is a courageous and strong team with powerful attack and defense, having won the championship of 2023 China College Futsal League (Southern Zone) and 2023 China College Futsal League Final.
