He gave a brief introduction to Hubei University and emphasized that Hubei University always kept in mind the gist of the General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches, adhering to the conviction that we are all of the same family, and endeavoring to promote integrated development across the Taiwan Strait. It is hoped that universities on both sides of the strait, will have more in-depth discussions and draw on each other's strengths, enhance practical cooperation in study tours, academic exchanges, scientific research cooperation, and social services.

This event offered a set of activities centering on Hubei's ecological and cultural achievements, including academic forums on green ecology and new materials, lectures and visits on Jing-chu Culture, Chinese history research studies, cycling on the East Lake Greenway, hands-on experience on 3D printing, VR technology, and Chu-style incense making, as well as wetland excursion. By engaging in such activities, young people from Taiwan gained a comprehensive understanding of Jing-chu Culture, Yangtze River civilization, eco-friendly practices, technological advancements, and modern life. This not only fostered friendships among young people from the mainland and Taiwan of China, but also facilitated collaborative efforts towards cross-strait integrated development.
