“Hubei Tea Party: Building a better future with Chinese Language” China-Latin America Youth Dialogue held at Hubei University

China-Latin America Youth Dialogue under the theme of“Hubei Tea Party: Building a better future with Chinese Language”was held at the Chinese Cultural Experience Center of Hubei University on July 17th, unlocking the code of Jingchu-Culture. Attendees at the event include a total of 37 delegates, from the "Generation Z" youth Hubei Tour delegation from Maranhão in Brazil, from the "Chinese Bridge" youth exchange delegation from Confucius Institute at São Paulo State University in Brazil, and from the Four-week exchange program by International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship. Together with representatives of Chinese and Brazilian teachers and students at Hubei University, they took great delight in drinking tea and engaging in exchanges, shared thoughts on learning Chinese.


Li Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Hubei University, extended a warm welcome to the Latin American youth representatives. She said that the visit of young friends from Latin America was of great significance to further strengthening the educational and cultural exchanges and cooperation between Hubei University and Latin American universities, and promoting the understanding and friendship between Chinese and Latin American people. In the future, Hubei University will continue to expand its new areas of cooperation with Latin American universities, and creating a new chapter in China-Latin America exchanges.

Young Chinese and Latin American people, including Tian Tiantian, an undergraduate majoring in Portuguese at Hubei University, Hedilane dos Santos de Araujo, a youth  representative from Maranhão, Wang Yunuo, an undergraduate majoring in International Chinese Language Education at Hubei University, André Montanari Marques Pereira, a student of Confucius Institute at São Paulo State University in Brazil, Dai Jiarui, an undergraduate majoring in International Affairs and International Relations at Hubei University, Aguirres Agustín Sebastián, an Argentine member, Fernandes Martins Paulo Heros, a Brazilian student at Hubei University, shared their stories and feelings about learning Chinese, and held in-depth conversations on the influence of Chinese language on their future career development.
