Brazilian youth study tours 2024, include the three-week “Chinese Bridge” Summer Camp, the two-week Youth Delegation from Maranhão, Brazil, the four-week Hubei University Youth Summer Camp from Brazil, and the one-week Wuhan International Youth Exchange Week between Friendship Cities with a 12-year-old Chinese language enthusiast from Brazil. The Brazilian youth visited Chinese cities as Beijing, Wuhan and Yichang, experiencing the culture diversity in Beijing and exploring the elegant character and smart innovation in Hubei, appreciating China’s rich cultural connotation, according to Ye Dan, the Chinese director of the Confucius Institute at São Paulo State University.

The Brazilian youth have interacted with traditional Chinese history in a manner that transcends time and space in the Palace Museum and Hubei Provincial Museum, have appreciated the perfectly matched unique charm of Chinese culture and natural ecosystems on the Great Wall, the Yellow Crane Tower and Wudang Mountain, and have learned about the further convergence of science and technology with culture through their own personal experience of touring the Three Gorges, visiting enterprises, and taking the suspended monorail line the “Optics Valley Photon”. They have also participated in various events such as the China-Brazil Youth Forum, Chinese language classes, cultural salons and field visits which showcased profound Chinese culture in a holistic and systematic approach.

Andy, a student at the Confucius Institute at São Paulo State University from the “Chinese Bridge” Summer Camp, expressed admiration for China’s high-tech companies and advanced technologies. She said that without the firsthand experience, she would probably never know China’s spectacular economic and social development."

Clávison, a member of the Youth Delegation from Maranhão, Brazil, showed great interest in China’s online shopping, express delivery and logistics industries. He remarked, “It’s incredible that items purchased online can even be delivered within three days in China.”
