The China International College Students' Innovation Competition 2024 Hubei Final was held from July 28 to 30. After multiple rounds of competition, Hubei University won a total of 19 awards, including 5 gold, 5 silver, and 9 bronze.

Hosted by Department of Education of Hubei Province and organized by Hubei University of Technology, China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2024 is the most widely participated, extensively covered and greatly influential innovation and start-up event for college students in Hubei Province. A total of 116,202 entries were registered by universities across the province, with a cumulative participation of 501,836 individuals.

The five provincial gold-medal entries include 3 from the School of Life Sciences; 1 from the School of New Energy and Electrical Engineering; and 1 from Manchester Metropolitan Joint Institute, Hubei University.
