Hubei University's Wuchang Campus and Yangluo Campus start the new semester from September 7 to 8. Ten thousand freshmen, full of vitality and ambition, are well prepared to embrace the new semester with high spirits.

Xie Hongxing, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hubei University, Liu Jianping, President of Hubei University and Deputy Secretary of CPC Hubei University Committee, Hou Yong, Deputy Secretary of CPC Hubei University Committee, Zeng Xiangyong, Vice-President of Hubei University, and Li Li, a member of the standing committee of the CPC Hubei University committee, greeted freshmen, their parents and volunteers in person at orientation sites as well as dormitories, canteens, and teaching buildings, expressing concern for the work of welcoming freshmen, and hoping them quickly adapt to the university life.

Xie Hongxing walked into the student dormitories, visited the freshman with limited mobility and his parents, asked about his health condition and accommodation, reminded relevant departments to implement assistance measures, and presented him with daily supplies. He stated that Hubei University would exert every efforts to solve problems for students, provide help and services in all respects, so as to ensure students making good use of rich resources at Hubei University to improve themselves.

Hubei University welcomed 10,080 freshmen this year, including 6,197 undergraduates, 3,792 postgraduates, and 91 international students. Hubei university coordinated the registration and orientation of freshmen to help new HUBUers start a new life on campus and light up their youthful dreams.
