A delegation from Baranovichi State University of Republic of Belarus, led by Rector Alexander Unsovich and Vice-Rector Ina Bulyga, visited Hubei University On September 25. Liu Jianping, President of Hubei University, met with the guests, along with representatives from International Office, School of Chinese Language and Literature and Business School.

Liu Jianping extended a warm welcome to Alexander Unsovich and his delegation. He noted that Baranovichi State University and Hubei University have carried out effective cooperation and achieved positive results since the establishment of their partnership in 2021. He expressed hope that both sides would further strengthen collaboration in talent cultivation, academic exchanges, scientific research and other aspects, injecting new momentum into the China-Belarus strategic partnership.

Alexander Unsovich stated that Baranovichi State University highly values its cooperation with Hubei University. He expressed his expectation that the two sides would use this meeting as an opportunity to explore potential areas and expand broader space for cooperation.

During the meeting, the two sides reached multiple cooperative intentions regarding student exchanges, joint training programs,academic cooperation and other issues.

They also held discussions on matters such as jointly applying for research projects and hosting international academic conferences. Liu Jianping and Alexander Unsovich renewed the Memorandum of understanding between the two universities and signed a new Student Exchange Agreement.
