A four-member delegation from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, led by Provost Ramprasad Balasubramanian, visited Hubei University on November 5. Zhang Donghui, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hubei University Committee and Vice President of Hubei University, met with the guests, along with representatives from International Office and School of Art and Design.
Zhang Donghui extended a warm welcome to Ramprasad Balasubramanian and his delegation. She noted that the Digital Media Arts program, established in 2023,jointly by Hubei University and its key international partner—University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, has achieved remarkable results. Zhang expressed hope that both universities would build on the solid foundation to further enhance communication and coordination, ensure the continued success of the cooperative education program, and explore further collaboration in areas including student exchanges, faculty visits, academic exchanges, and scientific research cooperation.

Ramprasad Balasubramanian gave a high regard for the fruitful results of the collaboration and expressed his expectation to broaden the cooperation areas and deepen the collaborative levels on the existing solid foundation, aiming to yield more substantive outcomes.
Zhang Donghui and Ramprasad Balasubramanian signed the agreement on student exchange. Both sides also discussed matters related to the cooperative education program, including curriculum alignment and credit recognition, and reached a consensus to expand collaboration in the areas of faculty and student visits and academic exchanges.
