The “Passing the Torch” Study Camp, part of Vietnam’s youth program “Red Study Tour”, visited Hubei University on the afternoon of November 12. Young faculty members and students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and Hubei University gathered on campus for in-depth dialogue to further strengthen China–Vietnam friendship and to share the cultural resonance of the new era through immersive cultural experiences.

The Vietnamese youth visited the Hubei University Museum, the History Museum of Hubei University, and the "Youth Home," gaining a deeper understanding of the university's development rooted in Hubei and its mission with national rejuvenation. They spoke highly of the universitys cultural heritage and its achievements in talent cultivation. At the "China-Vietnam Youth University Students Dialogue," representatives of young teachers and students from both universities delivered speeches and engaged in lively exchanges on topics such as China-Vietnam friendship, youth responsibility, and cultural heritage. Particularly when discussing pop culture, the students from both sides spontaneously sang familiar songs together, filling the venue with an atmosphere of cultural integration. The Vietnamese youth also experienced Chinese intangible cultural heritage skills, such as paper-cutting and lacquer fan making, immersing themselves in the charm of outstanding traditional Chinese culture.

Both groups of young participants expressed their commitment to becoming inheritors of the China–Vietnam friendship, promoters of shared development, and pioneers on the path toward the future, contributing their youth and strength to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
