Hubei University Clinches 9 Gold Medals at Provincial Wushu Championships

The 2025 Hubei University Wushu Championships took place at Wuhan University of Technology from November 28 to 30. The Hubei University Wushu Team achieved outstanding results, securing 9 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals in individual events, along with two team silver medals. The team was also honored with the "Sportsmanship Award".



To prepare for the championships, the team embarked on an intensive and systematic training. Led by Coach Mei Linqi, ten athletes competed across 21 events in Group B and D with notable composure and consistency, leading to a host of honors. This success not only reflects the outstanding character of Hubei University students but also demonstrates the University's achievements in fostering student development through sports and carrying forward traditional culture.
